Message from the President of the Board of Trustees:

Ketharet Dawood Organization for Development (KDOD) is a non-profit organization that has been legally incorporated in Egypt since 2015 (registration number 9771). The organization seeks to provide social services in the key fields of education, training and economic integration.

KDOD believes in the inherent capabilities of all, with programmatic activities targeting children, youth and women.

We believe that each child is entitled to the best possible education and the right to build holistic skills for lifelong learning. We also believe that youth should be supported in their transition to the labor market with the skills, both technical and soft skills, to reach gainful employment. We also believe that empowering women and supporting their economic integration is key not only for gender equality but for the wellbeing of the whole society.

 Adult Education Authority: : We signed a protocol to provide literacy program 
“ Start by Yourself” program in Qena governorate in 2017.

Ministry of Education : We signed and implemented a cooperation protocol between Ketharet Dawood and Ministry of Education to provide “Future Heroes” program for school children in Nage Hamadi – Qena Governorate.

Deutsche Gesellschaft Fur Internationale Zusammenrbeit GIZ: Provide “Future Heroes” program for 750 child and “Achieve your Dream” program for 150 youthh in Ezbet Allam – Al Khosoos – Qalyubia Governorate.

Japanese Tobacco International JTI and Rotary Club: Provide “Your Dream.. Your Project” program for 120 women to train them “Shoe-making and sewing school bags” in addition to “Entrepreneurship” program “Start your Business” in Ashmoun – Monufia governorate.
